Kristyn Wujtewicz has been named our new Local Representative. We are very pleased that she has agreed to help us in this new and important role. Learn more about the position, how to pronounce her last name (go with “D-Ro”), and much more about her.
The new position of Local Representative helps us to develop and grow our business throughout Rhode Island. And we are excited to have found a person that will help us to do that right away.
Kristyn Wujtewicz (Wuh-TOE-witz) will first be working to identify, contact, and acquire key strategic partnership opportunities in the local area. This will include attending networking, industry, and beer festival events.
She’ll be connecting us with new lodging affiliates, activity based businesses, and other local establishments that we can effectively partner with.
Kristyn will also be supporting our tour operations team by maintaining regular contact with tour partners and by identifying new potential producers for our tours to visit.
Most importantly, she’ll be constantly promoting all of our Rhode Island Brew Bus tours by connecting individuals and groups to opportunities on board our bright blue buses.
Learn more about Kristyn, in her own words…
Hi, I’m Kristyn!!
I currently live in Providence, but I’m originally from Connecticut. You may have seen me behind the bar working at either Ravenous Brewing Company or The Guild or at numerous other events and beer festivals all around Rhode Island. If I wasn’t working, you still could have seen me at those places with my pups, Willie & Dharma. They are both rescue dogs who are truly my world.I enjoy running almost as much as I love beer, so joining the running team at Ravenous was an easy decision. When I found out there was an opportunity to partake in a 12 mile run from Ravenous to Foolproof, Crooked Current, and Bucket, it seemed like the perfect combination. It was called the Foolish Raven Crooked Bucket Run, and I loved it!
I actually enjoy combining all exercise with a good beer. Last June I competed in a CrossFit competition with Skyroc Brewery called “Legs & Kegs”. I didn’t win, but I placed third! If it’s not one of these events and you still think you’ve seen me somewhere, it could have been a Roller Derby bout where most people know me as “D-Ro”.
You’ll have to meet me in person to find out what that name actually means…
Due to injuries I’m no longer skating, but I am still participating with the team as a coach.
I am ecstatic to be a member of the Rhode Island Brew Bus family, and I truly hope to see all of you on a tour!
